I tried to show my sister, Carol, and my nephew, Jacob (who didn't invent the Jacob's Ladder Combo) some of my kite tricks. The wind didn't cooperate. It was very squirrely and mostly died down, so it was not a very good demo, and a rather short fly.
I think Jacob liked the kite and I think I will buy him a good beginner dual-line kite (probably a Beetle) for a birthday present.
